Hi, I’m Noor Noghnogh, a therapist at ARCH Counseling Center. Are you struggling to balance the expectations placed on you with what you truly want for yourself? Do you find yourself questioning your identity, feeling overwhelmed by academic or life pressures, or unsure of how to move forward? If you’re looking for a safe space to explore your thoughts and feelings without judgment, I’m here to help you find clarity and build a more fulfilling life.
More about Noor
Education, Background & More
I believe that therapy works best when it’s a true collaboration. You are the expert on your own life, and my role is to listen deeply, ask thoughtful questions, and help you uncover the insights that lead to lasting change. I strive to create a warm, non-judgmental space where you can express yourself freely, explore what truly matters to you, and develop a stronger, more authentic sense of self.
My therapeutic approach is rooted in evidence-based practices, integrating Psychodynamic, Narrative, and Acceptance and Commitment therapies to provide comprehensive support tailored to your unique needs. Together, we’ll explore the underlying patterns that may be holding you back, reconnect you with your core values, and help you build practical skills for navigating life’s challenges. I view therapy as more than just managing symptoms. It’s about cultivating genuine self-understanding, resilience, and the confidence to live a life that feels truly yours.
I am currently completing my Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology, with a specialized focus in Child and Adolescent Treatment. I hold dual bachelor’s degrees in Integrated Health Sciences and Psychology from the University of Illinois–Chicago, which has equipped me with a comprehensive, holistic understanding of mental health and wellness.
My background spans both healthcare and behavioral therapy, giving me unique insight into how physical health, emotional well-being, and lived experience intersect. This integrated perspective allows me to support you in a way that honors the whole person, not just individual symptoms or struggles.
I have extensive clinical experience supporting neurodivergent individuals, including those on the autism spectrum and those managing ADHD, and I bring particular expertise in creating affirming, culturally responsive therapeutic spaces for clients from multicultural and immigrant backgrounds. I appreciate the unique pressures that come with navigating multiple cultural identities, family expectations, and the search for belonging.
Whether you’re working through identity exploration, life transitions, anxiety, depression, or challenges with self-esteem, I’m committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based care that empowers you not just to cope, but to truly thrive. My goal is to help you build the tools, insights, and confidence you need to create meaningful, lasting change in your life.
