ABOUT US

Evidence-Based Care. Human Connection

At ARCH Counseling Center, we believe that mental health care should be thoughtful, collaborative, and responsive to the unique experiences of each person we serve. Seeking support is not always easy, and our goal is to provide a space where clients feel respected, understood, and supported as they work toward meaningful change.

ARCH Counseling Center offers in-person and telehealth therapy in Chicago for children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. Our clinicians work with a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, life transitions, grief, identity exploration, and stress related to work, school, and family life.

Located in Chicago’s Lakeview neighborhood, we are committed to providing high-quality mental health services that are accessible, inclusive, and grounded in evidence-based care.

Our name, ARCH, reflects the values that guide our work:

Acceptance
We recognize that every person brings a unique set of experiences, identities, strengths, and challenges into therapy. Our goal is to create an environment where clients can explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences without fear of judgment.

Recovery
Recovery looks different for everyone. Whether you are managing a mental health condition, navigating a major life transition, or working through the effects of trauma, our clinicians help clients identify goals, develop coping strategies, and build meaningful change over time.

Compassion
We believe effective therapy begins with a strong therapeutic relationship. Our clinicians approach each client with empathy, curiosity, and respect, creating space for honest conversations and collaborative problem-solving.

Healing
Healing is not about eliminating difficult emotions; it is about developing a healthier relationship with yourself, others, and the challenges you face. Through evidence-based care, we support clients in building insight, strengthening resilience, and improving overall well-being.

We are proud to be able to offer services in the following languages:
English, Afrikaans, American Sign Language, Arabic, French, German, Hindi, Spanish, Telugu, and Yoruba.
