More about Vivien
Education, Background & More
Therapy is a space where you can show up as your true self, without fear or judgment, where you can heal freely and at your own pace. My approach is grounded in supporting all of you, as well as the various aspects of your identity that shape who you are. I have experience working with a wide range of individuals, including children, teenagers, and adults. Together, we create an environment where you can heal and live life authentically.
My work aims to empower you. I approach healing through a decolonizing and anti-oppressive lens that is grounded in trauma-informed and person-centered practices. It’s essential to me to support you as a whole, honoring your unique identity and intersectionality, as I approach our sessions through an accessible, culturally sensitive, and inclusive lens. I have experience working with diverse populations, including those with severe mental illness, developmental disabilities, and neurodivergence, utilizing my background in applied behavioral analysis. My work integrates parts work, DBT, and ACT techniques to create a space in which you can reconnect with mind and body. My background in research and data analysis reinforces my commitment to using evidence-based practices that have been shown to be effective.
Whether you’re processing assault or trauma, exploring your identity, struggling with anxiety or depression, or just want to reconnect with yourself, I’m here for you. If you want to shift old patterns or find new ways to navigate overwhelming emotions, I’m ready to support you in finding your way forward.
