My approach is deeply rooted in my personal experiences and professional training. As a person with a diverse background, raised by a single mother in the heart of Chicago, I understand the complexities of navigating diverse identities and life’s unexpected turns. I bring a unique blend of empathy and directness to my practice, creating a space where you can feel seen, heard, and empowered.
With a Master’s in Clinical Psychology and over 10 years of extensive experience in the mental health field, including in crisis stabilization and inpatient psychiatric care, I am equipped to support you through life’s most challenging moments. My expertise spans domestic violence, trauma, relationship and sex therapy, and the integration of spiritual and holistic approaches to care. I am a certified domestic violence advocate and am passionate about providing trauma-informed and culturally competent care.
Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, depression, the impact of chronic illness, or seeking to deepen your understanding of yourself and your relationships, I am here to help. I believe in your inherent strength and the potential for growth.
