Education, Background & More
With five years of experience in the mental health field and a rich background spanning diverse cultures and educational settings, I bring a unique perspective to therapy. Originally from India, I understand the importance of cultural nuance and the impact of cultural experiences on mental health. I’m fluent in English, Hindi, and Telugu, allowing me to provide culturally competent care to a wide range of individuals across Chicago and Illinois.
My educational journey has equipped me with a comprehensive understanding of human behavior and mental health. I hold three master’s degrees: a Master of Science in Clinical Child Psychology from Cambridge University (UK), a Master of Arts in Education from Birmingham City University (UK), and a Master of Clinical Mental Health Counseling from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. My experience as a psychology teacher has further honed my ability to connect with and support individuals on their path to growth.
My compassionate and client-centered approach is tailored to your unique needs, incorporating evidence-based techniques and creative modalities that resonate with your personal journey. I believe in the power of the therapeutic relationship and strive to create a safe and trusting environment for deep exploration and healing through secure telehealth sessions.
