More about DEVANTÉ
Education, Background & More
My approach is that you are the expert on your life, and my role is to support you in exploring the challenges that bring you to therapy. This could be navigating anxiety, life transitions, relationship challenges, identity questions, or experiences that may feel difficult to sort through alone. I work to create a space where you can express yourself freely, feel listened to and not just heard, and move at a pace that is right for you.
Before entering the counseling field, I worked as a music teacher, voice coach, and performer. This work has taught me a lot about expression and storytelling, as well as the different ways people make meaning of their experiences. There’s not just one right way to process what happens in life, and not just one approach to how we show up in therapy. Together, we will explore what works for you and build from your strengths and passions to help you live a fuller life that aligns with who you are.
